Pichest Boonthamme

Master Pichest is regarded as one of the highest caliber and most respected healers in the Thai Lanna community. He has instructed many of the teachers of Traditional Thai Massage in Northern Thailand and around the world.  In 2022/23 Troy spent 9 months living in Hang Dong studying with Ajarn Pichest and abbots and monks at different temples. I understand and respect the responsibility that comes with  having two rare initiation ceremonies, one by Ajarn Pichest, and another by the Abbot of Wat Khun Khong.

Ajarn Pichest always took care of his body first. Do not exert yourself or cause yourself pain.
Relax, breathe work with your body and gravity. Work with the person body, sensing feeling.

Ajarn Pichest with one of his mentors, Kruba Srivichai. Kruba Srivichai was a famous
monk in the Northern (Lanna) part of Thailand. Ajarn Pichest read and studied the teachings and writings of Kruba Srivichai.

I have always respected and was amazed at Ajarn Pichest dedication and practice.
I had the honor to sit with him and many times communicating nonverbally.
