Why Troy has chosen to work with and for others
Firstly, I am here for myself to walk in my journey so that I can become a better human being, not just a human doing. Through my personnel meditation and practice I have gained insight into my mind, spirit and health. The outcome from this practice allows me the ability to assist other people in their own journey to rejuvenate their bodies from both new and old injuries, accidents, trauma, etc. To educate, assist and share with people on different methods and techniques to help develop their own skills and style in body work/massage in their own practices.
I am very grateful that people choose to work with me when they come for a bodywork/massage session. As they relax, become confident in this style and practice their breath they are able to let go and release built up stresses, strains and tightness. For me it is incredibly beautiful to watch someone start to revive their body, mind and walk on their own path to health and happiness. It is my honor and pleasure to observe this and work with you.
I have traveled extensively since an early age, lived in Canada, Singapore, Australia, Guam and Thailand.
In December 2002 I was certified in levels 1, 2,3 and 4 (120 hours) at International Thai Massage School in Traditional Thai Massage, in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Since January 2003 I studied multiple times in 2006-2007-2009-2010-2013-2015-2018-2019- 2022-2023 with Ajarn (Master) Pichest Boonthamme, and time meditating and a retreat at temples in Hang Dong, Northern, Thailand.
Master Pichest is regarded as one of the highest caliber and respected healers in the Thai Lanna community. He has instructed many of the teachers of Traditional Thai Massage in Northern Thailand and around the world. In 2022/23 I spent 9 months living in Hang Dong studying with Ajarn Pichest and Abbots/monks at different temples. I understand and respect the responsibility that comes with having two rare initiation ceremonies, one by Ajarn Pichest and the Abbot of Wat Khun Khong.
